For the watermelon granita, first dice the pulp of the melon.
Puree all ingredients and strain. Put in the ice cream maker and freeze for about 20-30 minutes, depending on the machine. Then place in the freezer for the mixture to firm up.
To serve, crush the watermelon granita by hand or with a crushed ice maker (or blender) to the desired consistency.
Preparation Tip:
If you like, you can refine the watermelon granita with a shot of liqueur or brandy.
