For the nougat ice cream, dice nougat and melt in a metal bowl in a hot water bath while stirring. Add cream cheese and stir until smooth.
Bring milk and sugar with slit pod to a boil and let steep for 10 minutes. Separate two eggs. Whisk two yolks and whole eggs in a bowl.
Place over a hot water bath, pour hot milk through a sieve to the eggs and heat to about 75°C. Stir all the while until the mixture thickens slightly and pour through a sieve.
Add the nougat mixture and stir everything together. Freeze the nougat ice cream in an ice cream maker until creamy.
