Instructions:

Remove pike and set fillets aside for further use. Treat pike carcasses as in fish stock recipe, then add root vegetables, bay leaf, cloves, peppercorns, white wine and salt to about 1 liter of cold water. Bring to a boil and simmer slowly for 30 minutes. Strain the pike stock.
