Instructions:

For the American football brownies, first line a baking tray with baking paper.

Preheat the oven to 200 °C (gas 3, convection oven 180 °C). Melt the chocolate over a water bath. Melt the butter. Let both cool down a little. Chop the hazelnuts.

Beat the eggs with the sugar until creamy. Fold in the butter and chocolate. Stir in the hazelnuts as well.

Mix the flour with the baking powder and gradually fold into the batter.

Spread the dough evenly on the baking tray. Bake in the oven on the middle rack for about 25 minutes. Then allow to cool.

When the brownie mixture has cooled, cut football shapes out of the dough with a sharp knife or appropriate cookie cutters.

For the chocolate glaze, melt the dark chocolate over a water bath. Coat the cake with it and let it set.

Then melt the white chocolate over a water bath and pour into a piping bag with a thin nozzle or a freezer bag. Use it to trace the seams of the football.

Let the glaze dry and serve the brownies.
