A bean recipe for every taste:

1. Heat oil in an ovenproof Reindl or possibly a large saucepan. Add onion and celery and sauté briefly over low heat, stirring frequently, for about 3 to 4 min until tender.

2. Pour in clear soup and stir in carrots and potatoes. bring to a boil, cover and make 5 min.

3.Stir in tomatoes, lentils, zucchini, kidney beans, peppers and spices. Allow to boil, cover and make 5 min.

In the meantime, make the dumplings. Sift baking powder, flour, salt and paprika powder into a suitable bowl. Mix in the herbs and fat. Bind with the water and form into a soft dough. Divide into 8 portions and carefully form balls.

5. remove the lid from the stew, mix. Now form the dumplings on top and gently press them in. Cover, reduce temperature and simmer on low heat for another 15 min until the dumplings are risen and well done. Garnish with the flat-leaf parsley and bring to the table on the spot.
