Heat two-thirds of the oil in a frying pan, roast 2 slices of fish in turn until golden brown. Place on a plate and pour away the oil. Now heat the remaining oil and fry the crushed spices and curry powder for 5-10 min. Then add the diluted lemon or possibly lime juice. Add the fish to the sauce and let it simmer for 3-5 min. Season to taste. Arrange on a platter, garnish with the lemon slices and serve hot with long-grain rice.
