For the Emmentaler cake, preheat oven to 200°C. Prepare a short pastry with wheat flour, butter, egg and salt.
For the filling, sauté the onions, smoked bacon, mushrooms and peppers in butter. Add the QimiQ and dissolve. Stir a beaten egg into the lukewarm filling, season and finish with parsley. Roll out the short pastry. Cover a cake pan or a baking tray with it. Raise the dough at least 3 cm at the edge. Spread the filling over the dough, sprinkle the Emmentaler on top. Bake in the preheated oven until golden brown. Leaf salads with cream dressing go very well with this Emmentaler cake.
