Prepare a yeast dough from yeast, flour, sugar, milk and a tiny pinch of salt as usual and let rise for about 20 minutes. Cut the smoked bacon and the peeled onions into very fine strips. Mix the curd cheese, sour cream, sifted flour and oil with a whisk until smooth and season with salt. Roll out the dough in two portions on a floured surface, place on a greased baking tray, spread with cream, sprinkle with bacon and onions and bake in a hot oven at 250 °C (gas mark 5) for 12 to 15 minutes. Serve hot with a dry Alsatian Riesling or possibly Edelzwicker. Inventor:
