For the young onion cream soup, set aside 2 tablespoons onion rings for sprinkling. Sauté onion in butter and pour in wine.

Reduce to half, add soup and simmer over medium heat for 10 minutes.

Mix sour cream with flour. Stir in and puree the soup. Season with salt pepper, lemon juice and cook for 5 minutes.

Serve the young onion cream soup and sprinkle with onion rings.

Preparation Tip:

Croutons also go very well with the cream of young onion soup.
