Total time: 1 hour

Ingredients:

Instructions:

For the homemade raisins use only perfect and ripe grapes. Prepare the dehydrator (consider pre-drying in the sun) and wash the storage jars and lids.

Disinfect with alcohol. Place the jars and lids upside down to dry. Wash grapes and pat dry with and on kitchen paper.

Rack grapes, but do not pluck off the direct stem of the grape. Spread grapes on sieve trays, in several tiers. Depending on the dehydrator, dry the grapes within 10 to 12 hours.

Make the bending bite test to check the residual moisture. Pluck off stems of each raisin. Pack raisins in jars.

Preparation Tip:

Homemade raisins taste very good and you are sure not to get a sulfurized product. To keep electricity costs low, I recommend "pre-drying in the sun".
