Cut the pumpkin flesh into small pieces, cook until soft and puree. Beat butter, sugar, vanilla sugar and eggs until fluffy. Stir in cinnamon, salt and the cooled pumpkin puree. Fold in flour, baking powder and chocolate chips. Butter and flour the muffin tins, pour in the batter and bake at about 180 degrees for 20-30 minutes.
