Heat the oil in a pot and fry the onion strips in it.

Add the pumpkin, carrot, peterwurze and celery and fry them as well. Add a little salt and 1 cup of water. Simmer for about 10 minutes.

Once the vegetables are al dente, sprinkle the chili powder and pour the coconut milk over them.

Stir well again before serving and add more salt if necessary.
