Instructions:

Preheat the oven in time to 250 degrees (fan oven: 200 degrees, gas: level 4).

Make a dough from the ingredients listed and let it rest covered for 1 hour.

Sauté onion and garlic in butter until soft. Add spinach and parsley, remove everything from the stove.

Mix ham, curd cheese, spinach mixture and half of the mozzarella and season with salt, pepper and a pinch of nutmeg.

Roll out pasta dough on a floured kitchen towel into a rectangle. Spread filling evenly on top. Roll up dough with filling, moisten ends with water, form a ring and close tightly.

Cook the roll in slightly boiling salted water for 30 minutes.

In the meantime, put the tomatoes with the oregano in a bowl and cook over medium heat until it thickens into a sauce. Season well with salt and freshly ground pepper and mix with the remaining mozzarella.

Butter the gratin dish, carefully place the pasta roll (ring) in it, spread the Paradeiser sauce evenly over the ring, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.

Bake in the heated oven at 250 °C for approx. 15-20 min.

Tip: Did you know that one bowl of spinach covers almost all your needs for manganese and fiber?
