4 tomatoes or eight tablespoons of tomato paste Peppers, red cleaned, cut into strips Oil in a Miele universal roaster / frying pan Form. Heat with hot air setting 180 °C or top/bottom heat 200 °C for about 15 minutes.

Add the chicken meat cut into 2 x 2 cm cubes, onions and garlic cloves and cook for 25 min. Turn to the other side in between. Later add the peas, bell pepper strips, long grain rice, the sliced tomatoes or possibly the tomato paste and half of the clear soup.

Season with salt, pepper and saffron and simmer for 35 minutes. Stir occasionally and add the rest of the clear soup. Add squid rings, mussel meat and shrimps. Mix well and cook for another 20 minutes. If using brown rice, the cooking time will be extended by 20 to half an hour.

If you do not have a universal roaster, you can cook half of the above mixture in a fat pan, which is added to many stoves. The cooking times are reduced by about five minutes each at the same temperature settings as above. Serve with crusty baguette and red wine

Our tip: Use sweet red wine for a sweet note and rather dry wine for flavorful, spicy dishes.
