For the milk rolls, place wheat flour in the mixing bowl of a food processor. Crumble yeast over the top. Add salt and sugar. Knead with a little lukewarm milk.
Gradually add the melted butter and the remaining milk and knead into a smooth yeast dough. Let this dough rest in a warm place for about 1 hour.
The volume of the dough should have doubled. Knead the dough again and divide it into three parts. Form a roll from each part and then cut it into 4 equal pieces.
Form round rolls from these pieces and place them on a prepared baking sheet. Cover the rolls with a kitchen towel and let them rise for another 15 minutes.
Bake in a preheated oven at 190 °C for about 15 minutes until golden brown. Allow the milk rolls to cool and enjoy.
Preparation Tip:
Bake the milk rolls additionally with raisins or even chocolate chips.
