Instructions:

For the burgers, first prepare the burger buns. Mix the lukewarm water with the milk and sugar in a bowl. Crumble the yeast into the mixture.

Let the mixture rise for about 10 minutes. Then add flour, salt, 1 egg and the melted butter and knead for about 5 min on high speed to a smooth dough. Let the dough rise for about 1 hour in a warm place covered with a tea towel.

After this hour, divide the dough into 10 parts of about 90 g each and form into balls and spread on a baking tray lined with baking paper. The dough is very sticky, so flour the work surface and your hands a little.

Now again cover the rolls and let them rise for another hour. In the meantime, mix 1 egg with 2 tablespoons of milk and 2 tablespoons of water.

Then carefully brush the buns with the egg-milk mixture and sprinkle with some sesame seeds. Bake the rolls at 170 °C for about 20 minutes, and then let them cool down a bit.

For the minced loaves, chop the onion and garlic and fry them well with some oil in a pan – let them cool down a bit. Mix minced meat with all other ingredients and form burgers (approx. 8 cm ø for 10 pieces).

For the herb sauce, mix all ingredients well. Sear the patties and bacon slices well on a griddle. Cut the burger buns in half and also put them on the grill or briefly in the oven so they get nice and crispy. Top buns with any ingredients you like.

Preparation Tip:

The burger buns and minced patties (ungrilled) store well in the freezer for a few weeks. This gives you the opportunity to make hamburgers at any time.
