For the dough, heat the honey and sugar and leave to cool. Add all the other ingredients. Work well in a mixing bowl with a dough hook or on a work surface by hand. Wrap in plastic wrap and let rest overnight. Roll out dough on a floured surface or between two baking mats, not too thin. Cut out small, round cookies about 4 to 5 cm Ø. Place on prepared baking sheet and bake in preheated oven at 165 to 175 °C for about 10 minutes. For the glaze, mix all ingredients until smooth. Brush the cookies with the glaze while they are still warm or dip the surface and allow to drip off.

Preparation Tip:

The glaze will be more beautiful if you brush the cookies with hot currant jam while they are still warm, let them dry briefly, and only then brush them with the sugar glaze.
