Try this delicious cake recipe:

Prepare sugar, vanilla sugar, butter, egg yolks, rum and flour to a very smooth short pastry, rest 10 min in the refrigerator. Shape into rolls 3-4 cm thick, roll well in hail sugar all around and chill again for 1-2 hours (you can also leave the dough until the next day and then process it).

Cut the rolls into 5 mm thick slices and place them on a greased baking tray. Bake for 10 minutes at 180-200 °C. Remove from baking sheet and cool on a cake wire.
