For the cevapcici skewers, finely chop the garlic cloves and onion. Heat oil in a pan and fry the onions in it, add garlic and fry briefly. Let cool slightly and knead well with the remaining ingredients. Wrap the cevapcici mixture in foil and let it rest in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours. Then, using wet hands, shape the mixture into sausages about 4 cm long.

Wash the peppers, cut them in half, remove the seeds, skin and stalk. Cut into larger pieces. Peel and quarter the onion and separate the layers.

Thread the cevapcici, onion and bell pepper pieces alternately onto skewers and brush with olive oil. Grill the cevapcici skewers on the hot grill or in the grill tray until crispy brown on all sides (approx. 12 minutes).
