For the apple dessert, peel the apple, cut in half, remove the core. Melt the sugar in a pan, add the apples and pour the orange juice, let it steam until soft.

For the filling, peel and fillet the orange, cut into pieces with banana and mix with the cranberries, hazelnuts.

For the cream, boil the orange juice with sugar (use the juice from steaming as well), dissolve cornstarch in a little juice, add to the orange juice and simmer for a minute.

Let cool completely and then mix with whipped cream. Put one half of the apple in a bowl, spread with the filling, put the second half on top, spread again with filling, now cover with cream.

Preparation Tip:

Also very good with pears, and almonds instead of hazelnuts! If something of the cream remains, serve separately in a sauce boat to the apple dessert.
