For the ant cake, beat soft butter, sugar, vanilla sugar and eggs until fluffy. Mix flour and baking powder and add to the egg mixture. Mix the eggnog with the batter and fold in the chocolate chips.

Pour the batter into a greased and rolled out baking pan and bake the ant cake in a preheated oven at 180°C / hot air for 50-55 minutes.

Preparation Tip:

If you use two small molds for the ant cake instead of one large one, the baking time is 45 minutes.
